Telangana is the newest state that was formed last year. It was a long fought battle for residents of Telangana state and finally it was carved out of Andhra Pradesh and officially recognized as a new state. Telangana state Legislative Assembly has 119 constituencies out of which 48 are reserved for Scheduled Cast candidates and 19 are reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates. There are 17 Lok Sabha (Parliament) constituencies in the state. Current chief Minister of Telangana state is Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao from Telangana Rashtra Samithi party.

It also run state wide campaigns on voters’ education and information about polling stations during elections. On the website you can also search your name in voter list of Telangana by district or your voter id number.
If you are a resident of Telangana, 18+ years of age, and have all the identity proof documents, please follow the steps provided to apply for new voter id card in Telangana:
To register online, please visit Telangana state CEO website here: http://ceotelangana.nic.in/ this is the home page of the website. At top navigation bar, take the cursor to “E-Registration” >> Assembly Constituency >> and click “Form 6” for new enrollment.
Now you will be taken to this page here: http://ceoaperms.ap.gov.in/ts_eregistration/eregistrationnew/userdetails_new.aspx which is the form 6 that needs to be filled by new voter id applicant.
At the left hand side of the form you have to select your district and below that select your Assembly Constituency. At the right hand side upload a passport size photograph.
Below that is the Applicant’s Details section where you can enter your name, surname, date of birth and other details. Below this section, next one is for details of member(s) of applicant’s family. Fill in appraiser details here and move on to next section. Last section is for declaration of the form application and once you are double sure about the entered details, click on submit button at the bottom to complete the enrollment procedure.
Since there is no option for uploading scanned document copies of your address and photo id proof, you will have to send the form and documents in hard copy to the state election commission office.
