Sikkim is a small eastern state in India with 32 legislative assembly constituencies. The current chief minister of Sikkim is Pawan Chamling from Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) political party. Out of 32 seats of the assembly there are 12 seats reserved for ST candidates and 2 are reserved for SC candidates. Sikkim was formed as the 22nd state of India in 1975. For Parliament representation from the state there is only 1 Lok Sabha seat. The biggest achievement of the state is that it has won the award of most clean state of India.

New applicants in Sikkim can visit the official state election commission website here: http://ceosikkim.nic.in/ and there in the middle section it has a red color button for “Online Voters Registration”. Click on it, and it will take you to http://eci-citizenservices.nic.in/.
On this new page, you can register for new account and after registration login to proceed to form 6. There you can select your state as Sikkim and next field would be to select your constituency.
Below state and constituency section you have to fill your name, surname, date of birth, full address and family members details your relation with them.
Below credential section, you have option to upload passport size photograph, and identity proof documents for address, photo and identity. Attach all the documents, and double check your details to avoid spelling mistakes, and thens submit your application. Successfully submit application will provide you acknowledgment receipt that can be used to track Sikkim state issued voter ids.
After few weeks, you will be called and visited by your booth level officer for verification of your submitted application and documents and then in 1-2 months you will be granted your new voter id card.
