Visit the official state election commission website of Tamil Nadu here: http://www.elections.tn.gov.in/ and there at the top section you can see “Online Registration Facility” link in yellow color. Click on it and move on to new opened page.

You are now on this page: http://www.elections.tn.gov.in/eregistration/ where you can see different forms such as Form 6, Form 7, Form 8, Form 8A and Print Form options. Click on Form 6 to get the application form for inclusion of your name in electrical roll, and it will take you new page here: http://www.elections.tn.gov.in/eregistration/VB.aspx?status=I There you have to enter your Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number and Email Address to sign up for new account.

You will now receive a code on your email address and provided phone number used for new user registration. Now fill in the form 6 with all the mandatory and relevant information asked properly.

Next step is to attach and upload your passport size photograph, address, date of birth and photo identity proof and then click the submit button at the bottom.

After submitting your voter id form 6 application on Tamil Nadu CEO website, the enrollment procedure from your side is completed and now it is in processing by the state election commission officials for verification and issuance of your voter id card.

    I HAVE APPLIED THRO’ ONLINE FOR THE LINKING OF VOTER ID WITH AADHAR NUMBER ALMOST ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO. HOWEVER, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION AS YET ON THE LINKING/SEEDING OF AADHAR TO VOTER ID. FURTHER, NO VOTER ID IS ISSUED TO ME BUT ONLY A PIECE OF PAPER. I HAVE GIVEN MY CHANGE OF ADDRESS AS WELL FOR AADHAR CARD. I HAVE APPLIED FOR A FRESH VOTER ID FOR MY SON AND MY SPOUSE AS WELL..NOTHING IS HEARD ON THEIR APPLICATIONS AS WELL AND STATUS IS ALSO UNKNOWN IN THE WEBSITE PORTAL..MAY I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY CONFIRM ON THE ABOVE PLEASE.     I have applied for voter id for my wife and son in year 2012. They had provided me acknowledgment number. It has been more than 3 years and i still have not received our voter ids.
    I have also compiled election commission of India 2 times, but still no reply received by election commission office. What should i do now?

    Applied for voter id epic duplicate on 06.02.2015 at CCMC Coimbatore corporation and paid the fee of Rs, 25.TN/20/106/0279885 book no 24, s.no 236662. Paper news tells that no need to wait for 15 days, but I am waiting since February and now it has been more than 8 months, still no card issued.
